Judy Saalinger is a California licensed MFT and holds an addiction specialist certification through the American Academy of Healthcare Providers in the Addictive Disorders.  Prior to forming /establishing Lasting Recovery in 2004, Dr. Saalinger was in private practice for 23 years, specializing in, chemical dependency, depression, trauma and anxiety related issues for individuals and their families.  She is the author of the Fearless Change program curriculum.

ARTHUR J. FARKAS, Ph.D., SAP
Psychologist and Program Director

License # PSY 19905
Dr. Farkas was on the faculty with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He was responsible for substance abuse research and has over 40 articles published in peer reviewed journals. In addition, he worked as executive director for a residential treatment program. He is a certified Substance Abuse Professional who is authorized to conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) alcohol and drug assessments.

CAROL RIDER, L.Ac., M.T.O.M.

Licenced Acupuncturist
Carol Rider is Licensed by the California Medical Board as an Acupuncturist and she is a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine.  Ms. Rider has detoxed clients from toxic substances for the past 8 years.  She provides an introductory session to clients in the stress reduction component of our educational program.  Her clinic is located on the same premises as Lasting Recovery.
