Sober Living
(Currently for women only)
The sober living residence is established to serve individuals who have the common commitment to staying sober, overcoming dependence to drugs and alcohol and who desire a supportive, peaceful and safe environment for recovery and healing.
Residents choose sober living environment for different reasons. Some women have successfully completed inpatient treatment or participation in a halfway house program but are not ready to return to their prior living situation or live on their own. Others may have relocated to the area or may be going through a personal transition such as divorce, separation or death of a loved one.
The Solana Beach home is located in a peaceful, residential neighborhood close to support group meetings, public transportation, shopping, and churches. It offers a comfortable, fully-furnished living area with numerous amenities including: Internet access, large screen TV with DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, unlimited local and long distance phone service, full laundry facility, adequate storage, beautifully landscaped private yard, and a swimming pool.
Residential management consists of friendly, supportive women with long-term sobriety and healthy personal recovery. They encourage adherence to house goals with compassion and understanding.
Although we do not provide counseling or treatment in the homes, we offer the option of participation in Lasting Recovery's Day Treatment for Women. Living in a sober home while attending this program is what we call Premium Care Program for Women. Transportation to our treatment facility is available.
