Individualized Care
Counseling sessions are scheduled as needed. These sessions address issues that may interfere with the client’s ability to maintain sobriety. We will refer clients with a dual diagnosis to a psychiatrist for consultation.
Our clinical director conducts all individual sessions during the Intensive Outpatient Phase of treatment. Referrals are made at the end of treatment if ongoing psychotherapy is recommended.
FAMILY SESSIONS
Family sessions are provided to clients and their families or significant others, as needed during intensive treatment phase. These sessions address issues likely to interfere with the client’s recovery. Outside referrals to qualified therapists will be given to families that require ongoing help.
PSYCHIATRIC CONSULTATION
We recognize that the diagnosis of chemical dependency often masks a secondary diagnosis of depression, anxiety disorder, ADHD, Bi-Polar disorder, eating disorder, unresolved trauma or abuse.
We
will refer to a physician to determine if medication or additional treatment is necessary.
