Counseling provides a safe place to resolve many of the symptoms of emotional and physical stress related to addiction, depression, anxiety

or trauma. Through relationship counseling, people earn how to reconnect after conflict or chemical dependency recovery, discover the power of truly listening to others in conversation, learn how to respond rather than react in close and intimate relationships, and learn how to resolve conflict through healthy communication patterns.

Since 1981, Judy Saalinger has helped her clients find solutions, using techniques drawn from psychodynamic, communication, cognitive behavioral, gestalt and family systems methods, tailored to the individual situation. She has presented over 200 workshops on topics such as communication, relationships, grief and loss, stress reduction, anger management, addictions in individuals and families, and codependency. She offers Fearless Change groups, based on her book FEARLESS CHANGE — Embrace the Choice to Reinvent Your Life.

Through her private practice, she provides individual psychotherapy and group and family counseling for people suffering from chemical dependency, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and unresolved adult or childhood trauma.
