Fearless Change Groups

These groups are based on the book, Fearless Change — Embrace the Choice to Reinvent Your Life.

With a foundation of over twenty years of clinical work with alcoholics, addicts and their families who have found hope and a new way of living through the changes required by recovery, these groups will:

• help clients to identify and find ways to satisfy the basic needs of early recovery
• learn how to make effective choices and how to respond appropriately to situations that vary in their relapse risk
• manage life changes that occur during recovery that are not directly related to alcohol and drug use.

Emphasis is placed on using the Fearless Change Map and the Choices of Change Chart — tools that make it easier for clients to learn and use this additional relapse prevention strategy as they progress along the path to long-term recovery.
